Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. Additionally, she earned praise for her debut television performance in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable film role. It is reported that she is making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. The actress is also working on a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
