Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played inside a playpen, while I sat for 12 hours in sanding floors and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! It was all starting to form, but it wasn't quite finished. In order to furnish the house would be an enormous undertaking with regards to both time and funds. I would also have to do my favourite shopping. My three sons and me searched for hidden gems while going to estate sales in order to help keep my spending under control. Every week, we would stroll through estate sales and garage sales on Fridays and Saturdays, purchasing a mix of new and old pieces. My next task was to spend working on my projects out in the driveway. The furniture was like this... and that's the place I discovered my love for restoration. Even though our home had been furnished, I could not put down. There was a market in the area for me to market my items. I could outgrow the area because I had numerous pieces I could use. My house was transformed into a space that I hosted open houses, where up to 1000 visitors could see the items on the first floor, and then purchase them. Growing Days was founded in my home. Apart from my successful company, I also started our family. Being a new mom I was able to find the perfect balance to both start my own company and being a decent mother. Growing Days just seemed to fit. My beautiful Nora arrived in the year 2013, which was our fourth child. Though I was content with the direction that my business was taking, I realized that I needed to take some time off. I decided to quit building my old furniture for a few months and be at home with the kids. It was what I wanted. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to ring. Numerous people reached me to ask for advice on home improvement and decorating. A majority of those calling me were people who had visited my home at one of my furniture open house events. After a while I began to take on customers in my own way. Before long I had multiple accounts, as well as a house remodeling business. When I first heard about my home renovation business, I laughed. In fact, I do smile when I think about the idea.
