Katherine Heigl speaks to the world about her "white bubble life" and how it has affected her parenting style for her multiracial adopted children. She revealed in an interview in the past that when it comes to skin color, it doesn't really matter. However, after talking to her adopted sister in South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats the children. "I inquired of Meg how she was treated differently when she went out with us parents than when she went out by herself. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl told her parents it made her realize just how naive she had been. According to the actress, she was furious. But, she was determined to channel her anger into helping her adopted girls. Heigl, who has been engaged to Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. The couple adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black in 2009.
